What I write, and who I write it for.
I have been writing about trauma treatment for as long as I have been teaching it. Continuing education curriculum since 2016, published work on the IFS model, EMDR, countertransference, mindfulness, and ancestral healing, and two books.
The clinical writing comes out of my own sessions. The rest comes out of a question I hear constantly, from clients and from people who are not in therapy at all, which is how to know whether to stay in a relationship or leave it.

The Books
For trauma treatment, and relationships.
I developed my own way of bringing the IFS model together with EMDR, worked out session by session with my own clients. Then I wrote the step-by-step guide to it. My second book is for anyone trying to decide whether to stay in their relationship or leave it.

Integrating Internal Family Systems (IFS) into EMDR Therapy
For clinicians treating complex trauma. The integration written out phase by phase, so you can keep it open beside you and work from it between sessions. It came from my own caseload before it came from a publisher.

Part of Me Wants to Leave, Part of Me Wants to Stay
For anyone deciding whether to stay in a relationship or leave it. It walks through naming what you are feeling, practicing self-compassion, making room for grief, and identifying your values so the decision comes from them. It also covers what comes next, whether you re-invest in the relationship or end it.
